The Garden

Surrounding the Church of St Blaise, the garden was created by the Carew family and is nurtured by a small team of volunteers, incorporating family graves, a 200 year old Yew tree and a memorial erected by E.A. and Beatrix Carew ‘To the Glory of God and in memory of all connected with this place, those who fought and those who fell in the Great War of 1914-1919’.

“… the beauty of nature was all around.”
